Welcome to the Poole Borough Band Website

Poole Borough Band was formed in the mid 19th Century, when it comprised of brass and woodwind instruments. Following the change to an all-brass combination and reformation in 1989, the present day band now boasts a voluntary membership of some 30 musicians. The band performs concerts and contests throughout the south of England and although a registered charity itself, suppports various others. It regularly participates in competitions and has been graded Championship section nationally. We have an entertaining repertoire of music that should appeal to all tastes.
